However, Hannelore's own actions, combined with a desperate wish and unexpected divine intervention, plunge her into even greater chaos. A significant incident involving the Goddess of Time using Hannelore as a vessel leads the entire kingdom to believe she is a chosen divine avatar, dramatically increasing her political value and the number of duchies vying for her hand in marriage through challenges and bride-stealing ditter matches. This turmoil forces Hannelore to confront not only her own romantic feelings but also her tendency to hide her emotions, pushing her to grow from a shy "lady crybaby" into a more decisive and capable leader. The narrative arc includes complications from former prince Sigiswald, political maneuvering from candidates like Ortwin of Drewanchel, and the ongoing schemes that threaten to destabilize the kingdom, all while Hannelore navigates the traditions of her battle-hungry duchy and her own unexpected destiny. A manga adaptation of this light novel sequel series began publication in September 2025.
