Manga
Description
The story is set in the continent of Astraea, where for millennia, a single Demon King has acted as the world’s primary antagonist, uniting the kingdoms of humanity, elves, and dwarves against a common foe. The conflict maintained a delicate balance; heroes were chosen, quests were given, and society functioned on a clear moral axis of good versus evil. This cycle shatters when the Hero, Kaelen, defeats the Demon King in the first chapter. Immediately, the magical seal known as the Binder of Restraint, which suppressed all monstrous and demonic urges within sentient beings, is destroyed. The world does not fall into chaos, but into a compulsive state of euphoria and hypersexuality, as former enemies and allies alike become overwhelmed by uncontrollable impulses.
The protagonist is not the hero, but the retired Sage, Mira. Having witnessed the aftermath, she discovers that the Demon King’s castle was a filter; his malevolent aura absorbed the world’s "corrupt essence." Without him, that essence now saturates the land. The main cast includes Kaelen, the guilt-ridden Hero who feels his victory was a curse; Ruz, a pragmatic former demon general now rendered docile and confused by his own sudden emotions; and Princess Lyra, whose political marriage alliances crumble as nobles abandon treaties for carnal distractions. Their goal is to create a new Demon King, or an artificial equivalent, before the world’s governments collapse into pleasure-driven anarchy.
The first arc, The Unraveling, follows the immediate fallout as Mira experiments with alchemical seals to protect a single village. The second arc, The Reluctant Tyrant, has the party hunting remnants of the Demon King’s power, trying to reconstruct his essence into a new vessel, a task that requires moral compromises as they must commit small evils to generate the necessary energy. The third arc, The Ecstatic Crusade, sees a faction of humans who embrace the new world as a form of liberation, attempting to stop Mira and Kaelen to preserve the "orgasmic hell" as their paradise. The final arc, The Crown of Thorns, focuses on whether the party will sacrifice an innocent to become the new Demon King or find a third path, exploring themes of duty versus desire and the necessity of suffering for stability.
