Description
Rhodri, an elf merchant with sharp worldly wisdom and unmatched negotiation skills, arrives at an elven forest that has been overrun by humans. These humans have advanced technologically and now hunt, enslave, and burn the homes of the elves who live there. While Rhodri is an elf by birth, he does not rely on traditional weapons or magic to fight. Instead, he wields money, strategy, and economic power against the greedy and violent human invaders. The central conflict asks whether his unconventional weapons are truly meant to fight humans or if they serve a different purpose entirely.
The story unfolds in a dark fantasy setting where the secluded elven society, too proud and insular for their own good, has fallen behind in technology and power. They find themselves invaded by a human race portrayed as lustful, perverse, and ambitious. As Rhodri begins to challenge one obstacle after another with ease, the narrative explores themes of power, economics, social justice, and morality. The core struggle is not merely physical survival but a moral dilemma: will Rhodri exploit the desperate elves trust for his own gain, or will he choose to do the right thing and genuinely help his people?. Notable early arcs involve Rhodri confronting the human oppressors not with a sword, but with deals and currency, testing the limits of whether wealth can truly liberate an enslaved race in a world where greed has already corrupted the powerful.
