Description
Human society has collapsed following an invasion by the Drakarchs, a race of dragon gods from another dimension known as Gandala. Twenty years after their arrival, the few remaining humans live as slaves under the rule of these powerful creatures. In this devastated world, a young slave named Gonron struggles to survive while harboring a rebellious spirit. His family has been killed by the Drakarchs, and his sister remains captive.

Gonron's life changes when he discovers and protects a mysterious talking egg. This egg is Ohma, the prince of the Drakarchs whose father, King Asurakan, was overthrown and beheaded by the current ruler, King Agito. Ohma narrowly escaped from Gandala to the human world in his egg form and now carries the ambition to avenge his father and reclaim the throne. Despite being different species, Gonron and Ohma form an unlikely friendship.

Their bond is sealed through tragedy. After other slaves report Gonron to the local Drakarch ruler Abrolom, Gonron is sentenced to death and beheaded. In his final moments, he begs for Ohma's life to be spared. However, Ohma envelops Gonron in a mysterious black smoke and resurrects him, granting him tremendous power. With their bodies now connected, Ohma declares that Gonron will need ten years to fully hatch, and together they must navigate the chaotic era ruled by the Drakarchs.

United by a shared destiny, Gonron and Ohma embark on a dangerous journey with two primary objectives: to rescue Gonron's kidnapped sister and to defeat the usurper King Agito, who now rules the Drakarchs. Along the way, they face powerful enemies and must learn to trust one another as they fight not only for their personal goals but for the liberation of all humanity. The narrative follows their rebellion against the oppressive Drakarch regime, exploring themes of found family, revenge, and the struggle for dignity in a world where humans have been reduced to mere prey. The series concluded after three volumes.
