Description
Kasumi works as the housekeeper at a boarding house that caters exclusively to international guests. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she is tasked with caring for a mysterious boy named Haru, who is discovered wandering in the garden with no memory of his past. Despite his amnesia, Haru possesses an unusual ability to speak multiple languages from around the world, a trait that only deepens the mystery of his origins. The diverse residents of the boarding house are unable to find any clues to his identity. In an effort to trigger his lost memories, Kasumi proposes a unique plan: by cooking a variety of international dishes from the guests' home countries, the taste of a familiar meal might unlock a connection to his homeland. This culinary journey becomes a record of a boy sampling world gourmet cuisine, from places like Georgia, Mexico, Austria, and Korea, in the hope that a single flavor will bring his past back to him. The story blends elements of slice-of-life, fantasy, and drama as it follows Haru's quest for identity through the universal language of food.
