In a world where people with canine transformation syndrome turn into dogs when excited or stressed, then revert to human form when petted and relaxed, university student Aoi Tanishiki lives with a specific variant that turns him into a Pomeranian. He works part time for a Pomeranian dispatch service called DeliPome, where he visits clients in his fluffy dog form to provide healing sessions. Using the money he earns, Aoi enthusiastically supports his favorite idol, Hayate Takato, the cool-faced center of the popular group Super Meteor.

During a routine assignment, Aoi arrives at a luxury tower apartment to find that his client is none other than Hayate himself. Overwhelmed with excitement at meeting his ultimate idol, and unable to handle Hayate's unexpectedly gentle private smile, Aoi transforms back into his naked human form right in front of him. Mortified by his professional failure and embarrassed as a fan, Aoi flees. To his surprise, Hayate specifically requests him again for another appointment.
