This is the central predicament of Yomei 3000 Moji, a manga that follows a protagonist whose death is not measured in days or years, but in the number of letters, words, and sentences he has left to speak or write. The story explores the strange and surreal fate that awaits him as he navigates a life suddenly governed by an impossible and finite literary budget.

The manga is an anthology of twelve short stories adapted from a novel by Murasaki Giyatei, with art by Naoyuki Asano. Beyond the title story, the collection presents other bizarre and emotionally charged scenarios. In one tale, a fetus that has been withdrawn inside its mother's womb for six years refuses to be born, leading to an unexpected and dramatic choice. However, upon meeting her, Manami discovers the woman is completely different from her expectations.
