The story centers on Shougo Hatano and five other university students who are the final candidates in a recruiting process for SpriLinks, a rapidly growing IT company hiring new graduates for the first time. Initially, the six are assigned a collaborative task: to form a team and discuss a given topic over the course of a month. Believing they can all succeed together, Shougo works to build strong connections among the group. However, just before the final interview, the rules are abruptly changed. The new, singular directive is for the group to select only one person among them to receive a job offer, instantly transforming the former comrades into bitter rivals.

As the desperate debate to secure the lone position reaches its peak, the six discover a set of six sealed envelopes, each bearing their name. Upon opening them, each candidate finds an accusation letter inside, charging them with the same shocking statement: the named person is a murderer. The narrative then becomes a tense mystery where every character is both an accuser and a suspect. The plot revolves around uncovering the lies the six have told, the hidden crimes they may have committed, and the true identity and ultimate goal of the killer among them who orchestrated this deadly game. The manga is an adaptation of Akinari Asakura's novel, featuring original story developments, and it concluded its serialization with three volumes.
