Description
In the bustling, identity-filled streets of Shibuya at night, four young women on the fringes of their own lives find each other. Mahiru Kouzuki is a talented illustrator who stopped drawing after her elementary school classmates ridiculed a colorful jellyfish mural she created. Kano Yamanouchi is a former idol, forced to retire from her group after a scandal, now seeking a way to prove herself through singing. Kiui Watase, a reclusive streamer who became a hikikomori after being bullied, now claims to be the greatest VTuber, Nox Ryūgasaki. Finally, Mei "Kim Anouk" Takanashi is a mysterious composer who simply wants to support her favorite idol. Together, they form an anonymous artist group named JELEE. Mahiru, inspired by Kano who defended her abandoned mural, takes on the role of JELEE's illustrator under the alias Yoru Umitsuki. As they create music and videos, they aim to shine in a way none of them can alone, hoping to free themselves from the shackles of their pasts and turn their anonymous project into a global hit. The story follows their individual struggles and collective growth, navigating the pressures of the entertainment industry and their own traumas to find their place in the world.
