An art college student living a reclusive and unhealthy life becomes the unlikely target of a vampire girl who has sworn to survive in the human world for one year by feeding from a single person. However, the vampire finds the student’s blood utterly disgusting, a direct result of her poor diet and lifestyle. For the vampire to fulfill her year-long stay, she must first make her host’s blood palatable again by turning the slovenly student into a picture of health.

The manga centers on the reclusive art student and the determined vampire girl who chooses to live alongside her. The setting is primarily the human world, with the story revolving around their shared living space as they navigate the challenges of this unusual dietary arrangement.
