Description
In July 1999, the prophecies of Nostradamus prove to be terrifyingly accurate as the dreaded King of Terror descends upon the world. From that moment onward, reality itself becomes corrupted, plagued by glitches and anomalies. The story resumes in the summer of 2022, following a young man named Suna Yaburai, who possesses a cursed constitution that attracts these very monsters and paranormal oddities. Desperate to find a meaningful and happy death, Suna decides to break a certain forbidden taboo in pursuit of his goal.
This act plunges him into a violent and absurd struggle within an alternate version of Japan. He finds himself accompanied by a pair of grim reapers and a bratty teenager suffering from chuunibyou, or eighth-grader syndrome. Together, this dysfunctional trio rampages through a broken world, engaging in brutal, splatter-filled combat against the creatures that lurk in the glitches. The narrative is described as a slightly serious splatter comedy, blending high-stakes horror and gore with dark humor and chaotic character dynamics. Published by Imaginary WORKS under the Kotolove label, the story focuses on Suna’s quest for a peaceful demise as he is forced to fight for survival in a reality that no longer makes sense.
