Novelist Rinji Sasai has spent years living in New York, but due to unforeseen circumstances, he is forced to return alone to Tokyo. Accustomed to the freedom of solitary life, he now finds himself adjusting to a different rhythm. Every Sunday, his routine is interrupted by visits from his son Max and son-in-law Yasu. Together, the three of them attempt to make the most of their weekends, navigating the small pleasures, quiet conflicts, and subtle connections that arise during their shared time.
