High school student Kazari Narimiya works part-time for the teen magazine Chloe. She is assigned to a new project called High School Girl International Food Tour and is introduced to her partner, Elena Tsukishima, a returnee from overseas who goes by Eri. Their mission is to visit restaurants in Tokyo that serve authentic cuisine from around the world and write food reports. Kazari is earnest and ambitious, harboring a dream of becoming a cooking researcher, and she approaches the assignment with seriousness. Eri, by contrast, is laid-back, casually tells Kazari to just call her Eri, and seems to take everything in stride. As they eat their way through Tokyo's diverse international dining scene, Kazari begins to overcome her anxieties and grows closer to her dream. Each meal serves as a new experience that broadens her culinary perspective and subtly influences her future path. The story unfolds over two volumes, with each chapter highlighting different national cuisines and including a guide to the actual restaurants featured, blending a gentle slice-of-life atmosphere with the practical details of food reporting.
