After sharing a dream in which he protects her, he resolves to become stronger, initially considering joining the judo club but hesitating to take action. One day, while chasing an escaped bird, he instinctively throws a ball with surprising force and accuracy. A baseball club member witnesses the throw and recognizes Daisuke's hidden strong arm, immediately urging him to join the team.
