Description
Asakura Misaki is a worn-out office worker whose daily life is weighed down by mental and physical stress. One day, she encounters a talking dog plushie who introduces himself as Atreya, an ancient Ayurvedic teacher who has traveled through time to the modern world. Despite his comical appearance, Atreya is a serious guide who begins teaching Misaki the principles of Ayurveda, the science of life, to help her regain balance and clarity.

The story follows Misaki as she learns about the three bodily humors known as doshas: kapha, pitta, and vata. She discovers how to identify her own dominant dosha and how imbalances manifest in her health and emotions. Atreya guides her through a soup fast and a practice of decluttering to reduce ama, the accumulated toxins in both body and mind. She adopts dinacharya, an ideal daily routine, and confronts how her ego and criticism of others contribute to her own aging and dissatisfaction. The narrative also explores the three mental qualities called gunas: sattva, raja, and tamas. Misaki reflects on her perfectionism, suppressed anger, and childhood memories. Eventually she examines her attitudes toward money and love, learning to align her actions with her true nature.

The manga unfolds over ten chapters that move from her initial question of “Is this okay?” to a final embrace of excitement and purpose. Through Atreya’s pragmatic, often humorous lessons, Misaki slowly sheds her stress and begins to live in a way that suits her authentic self. The single volume closes with her stepping forward with a renewed sense of direction, having integrated ancient wisdom into her modern life.
