After six years stuck in an all-boys middle and high school, eighteen-year-old Aisuke Saotome is thrilled to finally start his university life. His dream is simple: join a casual tennis circle, become popular with girls, and enjoy a carefree campus existence. That plan is derailed the moment he runs into his old tennis club senior, Onimaru, who also attends the same university. Onimaru forcibly drags Aisuke not to a fun tennis circle but to the serious, competitive athletic tennis club of Teito University.

There Aisuke meets Hazuki Hayama, the club’s beautiful and skilled madonna, and falls in love at first sight. Determined to become a man worthy of her, he impulsively declares that he will win the All Japan Intercollegiate Tennis Championship, known as the Inka-re.
