Takahito, a boy forced into the idol industry by his selfish childhood friend, discovers the appeal of makeup and cosmetical self-expression in the entertainment world. He forms bonds with his group members and tries to break free from his childhood friend's controlling grip, but his efforts fail. After being falsely accused of starting a violent incident, he is fired from his talent agency and decides to transfer to a new school. At his new school, he keeps his past and love for makeup a secret. There, he meets Karyuu, a girl whose presence begins to change his outlook.
