Here, a 68‑year‑old manga artist called Simon-san shares his ordinary yet irreplaceable days with his 11‑year‑old dog Linko. Through mundane routines and quiet moments, the deep, humorous, and tender bond between an aging creator and his aging companion is portrayed with warmth and honesty. This essay-style segment is written by Fumi Saimon herself, drawing on her own life with her dog.

The volume also includes a bonus chapter, “老漫画家×2と老犬の毎日 番外編” (Old Mangaka × 2 and Old Dog’s Every Day Extra Episode), which brings together two older manga artists and their dogs for a special crossover.
