Ito, the ambitious owner of a rising apparel brand called tsubomi, finally lands her dream opportunity: a pop-up shop in the prestigious, long-established department store Ichiya. She is driven by a sincere desire to deliver outfits that let every customer shine in their own way. However, her idealistic enthusiasm quickly collides with the practical, exacting standards of Yagihara, the handsome and famously skilled tailor known as the Prince of the alterations department. He constantly finds fault with her work, and his nagging criticisms frustrate her even as she recognizes his deep dedication to the customers' true needs. As Ito spends more time in the store, she begins to see that Yagiharas sharp words come from a genuine and meticulous care for his craft and for the people he serves.
