With her channel’s subscriber count stuck in the single digits, she must rely on a small but enthusiastic audience of online regulars to fuel her abilities. Assigned to protect her is Vermillion, the captain of the knight order and a prince whose eyes bear a “cursed” color that has made him an outcast at court. Together, Oto and Vermillion face a series of monster attacks, using the live chat’s encouragement and advice to fight. As Oto struggles to grow her channel and earn enough magical power to survive, she also grows closer to the stoic yet earnest Vermillion, whose hidden past and noble resolve gradually come to light.
