Description
Princess Lizeria of the royal family is executed as a traitor on charges of high treason, a scheme orchestrated by the king and queen she had trusted. In her final moments, she learns that she shares no blood with them, and her last thoughts are of her true parents. Instead of dying, she wakes up at an earlier point in time, her memories of the execution intact. Resolved to avoid the same fate, she begins moving in secret to expose the false charges against her and dismantle the plot that led to her death. While gathering funds for her plan, she encounters Alto, a count’s son who served as the executioner that beheaded her in her previous life. Now a wary knight, he watches her with suspicion as rumors of her being a villainous woman have already spread. Lizeria must navigate his mistrust while staying ahead of the king and queen’s machinations. As she works to clear her name, her genuinely kind and helpful nature begins to draw people toward her, one by one. The royal couple, threatened by her efforts, continue to send obstacles her way. The story follows Lizeria’s quest for revenge, which repeatedly forces her to take on leadership roles in struggling regions, such as the impoverished Klaus village, where she acts as the new lord and focuses on rebuilding its economy and morale. Alto, initially hostile, gradually becomes an ally, as do other former adversaries. The narrative unfolds in a fantasy kingdom setting with rigid social hierarchies and political intrigue, and the major arcs include her return to the past, the tense re‑encounter with the executioner, the restoration of the village, the secret alliance with a minister, and the slow but steady accumulation of supporters who believe in her despite the king’s smear campaign.
