The story takes place in Tokyo’s Kita and Adachi wards shortly after the events of the horror mystery adventure game PARANORMASIGHT FILE23: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo. A private high school student named Nino Sakuramiya begins to notice strange phenomena following the death of her classmate’s grandmother, whose body was discovered in the Sumida River and ruled an accidental drowning. As Nino becomes entangled in a local legend spreading through northern Tokyo, she encounters Mio Kurosuzu, a recent transfer student to her school who possesses genuine psychic abilities. Mio, a disciple of a renowned spiritualist, travels between schools to resolve supernatural disturbances while trying to keep her powers discreet. She has already dealt with a possession incident at Komagata High School and now turns her attention to the odd events surrounding Nino.

Nino herself has a special ability: photographs she takes frequently produce spirit photographs, making her a magnet for paranormal activity. Together, the two girls are drawn into a new curse linked to the folklore of the area. The returning character known as the Storyteller, along with figures named Tsutsumi and Erio, also appear as the narrative unfolds. The manga focuses on the human consequences of psychic trauma, the price of seeing what others cannot, and the social weight of carrying a curse. The story is written by the original game staff and illustrated by Hinase Momoyama, offering a self-contained detour into the darker corners of the PARANORMASIGHT universe. The series spans two compiled volumes, with the narrative centered on a single concentrated encounter that expands the lore of the game’s cursed mechanics.
