Description
Makoto Itou is a shy high school student who finds himself captivated by Kotonoha Katsura, a quiet and beautiful girl he sees every day on the train to school. Too timid to approach her, he follows a rumored charm: take a photo of your crush, set it as your phone wallpaper, and if no one sees it for three weeks, your love will come true. His classmate Sekai Saionji spots the picture and, despite harboring her own hidden feelings for Makoto, decides to help him win Kotonoha over. With Sekai’s persistent encouragement, Makoto and Kotonoha begin dating. But the relationship that forms is fragile from the start—Kotonoha is reserved and struggles to express herself, while Makoto is uncertain and easily swayed by attention. Soon after the couple becomes official, Sekai kisses Makoto, revealing the depth of her own emotions and igniting a tangled love triangle. What begins as an ordinary school romance quickly unravels into a web of jealousy, betrayal, and emotional manipulation. As Makoto’s indecisiveness and selfish choices escalate, both Kotonoha and Sekai descend into psychological instability, and the story spirals toward a shocking, violent conclusion that spares no one. Set against the backdrop of Sakakino Academy, the narrative traces the destructive consequences of unchecked desire and the inability to communicate honestly, ending in a tragedy that lingers long after the final page.
