In the middle of a rugby match, university player Yuuji Oda finally has a clear shot at scoring his team’s first-ever try—only to die from a sudden accident on the field. His spirit lingers, unable to move on because he never got to fulfill that one ambition. A mysterious elderly ghost appears and explains that he can re-enter the world by inhabiting a body that has just died. Yuuji follows the advice and takes over a corpse in a hospital, only to discover that the body belongs to a young woman named Akane Himekami. Now trapped in a female form, Yuuji decides to rejoin the Bentendo University (Bendai) rugby club as Akane, determined to score that elusive try and finally rest in peace.

The story unfolds at Bendai, a team so consistently weak that it has never won a match or even managed a single try before Yuuji’s death. Yuuji’s aggressive, straightforward playing style clashes and blends with Akane’s unexpected physique, forcing him to navigate not only the physical challenges of playing rugby as a woman but also the social and personal complications of living in another person’s body.
