Description
Eisuke Okamoto is a salaryman whose weekdays are a grind of power harassment under a miserable boss, but his weekends are a secret escape: he is actually the strongest adventurer alive, and his hobby is camping alone inside a dungeon, cooking and eating monsters he hunts. One Saturday, while preparing his usual camp meal, he stumbles upon a popular gal live streamer, Melody Inami, who is about to be devoured by an SS-class monster. Without thinking, he instantly kills the beast, and the entire rescue is caught on her stream. The footage goes viral, his name hits the top of social media trends, and Melody, completely fascinated by his strength and his cooking, begins showing up at his apartment every day to eat his food.
The unexpected fame pushes Eisuke to quit his soul-crushing job and start a new life as a dungeon-camp streamer alongside Melody. Together they explore various dungeons—from coastal ruins to hidden hot springs—where Eisuke creates gourmet dishes out of fallen monsters, and Melody’s lively commentary draws in a huge audience. Their banter slowly deepens into a warm, lightly romantic bond, though Eisuke’s real-world anonymity becomes harder to maintain. In the second narrative arc, the idyllic new routine faces challenges: a group of Melody’s antis escalate their harassment into dangerous real-world attacks, and a malicious, attention-seeking streamer begins targeting Eisuke’s channel. While he is unbeatable inside a dungeon, outside it he is merely a former corporate slave, forcing him to navigate threats that cannot be solved with raw power. The story balances mouthwatering food-porn sequences, the quiet satisfaction of wilderness cooking, and the chaotic energy of viral internet fame, all set in a modern Japan where dungeons have become a part of everyday life.
