Description
Miyori Sotono is a passionate but sharp-tongued advisor at a matchmaking agency in modern Japan, having lost interest in her own love life due to an obsession with dating simulation games. While protecting a newly engaged client from an oncoming car, she is struck and wakes up in a fantasy world where marriage customs and social values differ drastically from those of her own society. Without any special combat abilities or magic, Miyori decides to survive by opening a marriage consultancy, relying solely on her knowledge of modern matchmaking techniques. Her clients include a variety of troubled individuals: a handsome but emotionally distant knight, a shy farmer’s daughter, a wealthy merchant seeking a suitable match, and others whose expectations clash with the world’s traditional norms. Miyori’s blunt honesty, combined with her data-driven approach and occasional intervention of a game-like status screen, helps her navigate cultural misunderstandings and arrange successful unions. The story unfolds in a series of client-focused arcs that gradually reveal deeper challenges, such as class barriers and the personal growth of both the clients and Miyori herself. Over the course of 31 chapters, the narrative balances romantic comedy with thoughtful commentary on relationships, culminating in Miyori finding her own place in the new world without abandoning her mission.
