Manga
Description
In a school where cultural clubs occupy the lowest rung of the social hierarchy, Kabeuchi Konta serves as the president of the Manga Research Club. His uneventful daily life is upended when his childhood best friend, Kamijo Kouji, returns to town after several years in Tokyo. The Kouji who comes back is almost unrecognizable: he has transformed into an effortlessly popular and attractive figure who sits firmly at the top of the school's social ladder.

Overjoyed by the reunion, Konta makes the mistake of sharing a secret webcomic he has been pouring his heart into. The next day, he arrives at school to find his classmates laughing at his work, with Kouji standing among them. The betrayal cuts deep, and Konta is left to grapple with a single question: how did his friend change so completely?

Determined not to let the humiliation stand, Konta and the other marginalized cultural club members decide to fight back using the only weapons they have: their artistic skills and creative passions. Taking inspiration from historical figures who used art as a form of revenge, they begin a campaign of resistance against the school's unfair social order and those who mock them. Each episode presents a new challenge: dealing with a bullied manga club, clearing a falsely suspected VTuber's name, surviving a harsh editorial meeting, breaking free from a creative curse, and navigating the pressures of romance, career decisions, and the threat of a group being torn apart from within. Through these struggles, the story explores the nature of artistic creation, the pain of a friendship that has shifted into something unrecognizable, and the question of what it truly means to keep making art when everything else falls apart.
