The story takes place in a world where Hyper Yo-Yos equipped with the patented Accel System have revolutionized the sport. Unlike traditional yo-yos, the Accel System allows a player to spin the yo-yo at high speed simply by pulling the string while holding it, enabling impossible tricks called Super Tricks. The ultimate prize is the title of HYPER BIRD, the strongest Hyper Yo-Yo player in the world.

The main protagonist is Sekai, a passionate and determined boy who, together with his friend Wakaba, dives into the world of Hyper Yo-Yo battling. They are joined by Kana and Alex, each with their own motivation for chasing the HYPER BIRD title. Alex, in particular, stakes his entire yo-yo career on a high-stakes match against the skilled opponent Justice, leading to a grueling Loop-the-Loop competition where the first to complete five hundred loops wins.

As the series progresses, the group enters a summer training camp at the gym of Sekai’s master, aiming to level up their skills. There they face an unprecedented crisis that forces them to grow stronger. New yo-yos are introduced, and the battles become increasingly fierce. In the final volume, each character’s story reaches its climax as the competition for the HYPER BIRD title is decided, culminating in an explosive final showdown that determines who will claim the supreme title.
