Description
Reincarnated into a world where his new body belongs to a barbarian tribe on the brink of extinction, the protagonist finds himself in a desperate situation. His tribe has just lost a war against a vast and technologically superior empire, and they now live under brutal subjugation. With no grand起始点 or magical cheat, he is thrust into the role of the tribal chieftain, leading a people on the verge of collapse. Determined to overthrow the empire and secure independence for his tribe, he vows to rebuild from the ground up.
The story follows his strategic efforts to pull the tribe out of ruin. Using a mysterious skill granted by a god—along with fragments of modern knowledge—he introduces innovations such as ironworking, salt production, and new military tactics. The narrative blends hard-edged military strategy with moments of dark humor, as the protagonist navigates the harsh realities of tribal politics, resource scarcity, and constant warfare. As he strengthens his people, he must also contend with rival tribes, internal dissent, and the watchful eye of the empire.
Early arcs focus on survival and consolidation: securing food, forging weapons, and training a competent fighting force. Later arcs expand into larger campaigns, including a mercenary contract that leads to a brutal siege and a fateful encounter with a formidable enemy. Along the way, the protagonist gathers a cast of loyal followers—fierce warriors, cunning advisors, and allies from other races—while relentlessly pursuing his goal of conquest. The series is a straight-faced isekai war chronicle about rising from absolute defeat, where every victory is hard-won and the cost of failure is annihilation.
