Description
Two boys from similarly difficult backgrounds, Niwa and Aono, grow up side by side, sharing a single dream: Niwa will become the world boxing champion, and Aono will be the one cheering him on. Their bond is unbreakable, their lives intertwined by circumstance and mutual support. Then, without warning, they are torn apart. Aono is forcibly pulled into the yakuza underworld, his entire existence ripped away and replaced with a life of violence and servitude. Determined to reclaim the friend he lost, Niwa rises from the boxing ring and steps into a world of illegal underground fights, brutal confrontations, and ruthless gangsters. His quest to rescue Aono forces him to fight not only for his own championship aspirations but for the very soul of the person who believed in him. The narrative follows Niwa's descent into the perilous criminal underbelly as he battles yakuza enforcers, faces moral compromises, and struggles to hold onto the hope of reuniting with Aono. Through intense boxing matches and bloody street brawls, the story explores themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and the unyielding power of friendship when pitted against a cruel, predetermined fate. Aono, meanwhile, must navigate the dark path forced upon him, torn between his loyalty to his former friend and the inescapable grasp of the criminal organization that now owns his life. Their parallel journeys converge in a series of harrowing arcs that test the limits of their bond, leading to a climactic final showdown where the price of freedom and the meaning of true friendship are put to the ultimate test.
