"Lonely Castle in the Mirror" centers on Kokoro Anzai, a seventh-grade girl who withdraws from school due to bullying and struggles with anxiety. One day, her bedroom mirror begins to glow, transporting her to a mysterious castle. Inside, she meets six other teenagers, each facing their own challenges, and a enigmatic figure in a wolf mask who calls himself the Wolf Queen. The Wolf Queen explains that the castle is a refuge where they can escape their troubles, but there is a catch: they must find a hidden key within the castle to unlock a special wish-granting room. However, only one person can claim the wish, and they have until 5 p.m. each day to explore the castle before being sent back home. If they fail to find the key by the end of the school year, their memories of the castle will be erased.
