Description
"Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made" is a manga adaptation of the light novel series written by Miku and illustrated by U35. The story centers on Seiichi Hiiragi, a high school student who is relentlessly bullied and ostracized by his peers due to his unattractive appearance and lack of social standing. His life takes a drastic turn when he and his classmates are mysteriously transported to a fantasy world. Unlike his peers, who are granted powerful abilities by a mysterious voice, Seiichi is seemingly left with nothing. However, he soon discovers he has been given the unique ability to consume and evolve through the "Fruit of Evolution," a rare and potent resource in this new world.

After being separated from his classmates, Seiichi encounters a variety of fantastical creatures, including a powerful and intelligent gorilla named Saria, who becomes his first companion. Through consuming the Fruit of Evolution, Seiichi undergoes significant physical and mental transformations, gaining immense strength, intelligence, and charisma. His newfound abilities allow him to navigate the dangers of the fantasy world and form bonds with other beings, including a dragon named Artoria and a humanoid beast named Lulune.

As Seiichi grows stronger, he learns that the world he has been transported to is governed by a complex hierarchy of races and factions, many of which are hostile to outsiders. His journey becomes one of survival, self-discovery, and gradual empowerment as he uncovers the secrets of the Fruit of Evolution and the true nature of the world he now inhabits. Along the way, he confronts powerful adversaries, including his former classmates who have also gained extraordinary abilities but often use them for selfish or destructive purposes.

The narrative explores themes of transformation, resilience, and the consequences of power, as Seiichi grapples with his evolving identity and the responsibilities that come with his newfound strength. The story balances action, humor, and moments of introspection, with a focus on Seiichi's relationships with his companions and his gradual rise from an outcast to a formidable figure in the fantasy world. The manga adaptation faithfully captures the light novel's blend of fantasy adventure and character-driven storytelling, offering a visually engaging portrayal of Seiichi's journey and the vibrant, dangerous world he inhabits.
