Description
Amane Fujimiya, a reserved and somewhat indifferent high school student, lives a quiet life in his apartment. His routine is disrupted when he discovers that his beautiful and popular classmate, Mahiru Shiina, lives next door. Known as the "Angel" for her grace and kindness, Mahiru is admired by everyone at school, but Amane initially keeps his distance, believing they have little in common.

One rainy day, Amane finds Mahiru sitting alone on a park bench, drenched and shivering. Despite his usual aloofness, he offers her his umbrella and insists she take it. This small act of kindness sparks an unexpected connection. The next day, Mahiru returns the umbrella and begins to visit Amane’s apartment regularly, cooking meals and cleaning for him. Though Amane is initially baffled by her actions, he gradually becomes accustomed to her presence, and the two develop a close, albeit unconventional, relationship.

As their interactions deepen, Mahiru reveals a more vulnerable side, showing that her "Angel" persona at school masks her loneliness and desire for genuine companionship. Amane, in turn, begins to open up, shedding his detached demeanor. Their bond grows stronger as they share meals, study together, and support each other through personal struggles. The story explores their evolving relationship, blending moments of lighthearted humor with heartfelt emotional growth.

The narrative delves into themes of mutual dependence, trust, and the gradual breaking down of emotional barriers. Amane and Mahiru’s relationship is built on small, everyday gestures that accumulate into a profound connection. The series balances slice-of-life elements with a slow-burn romance, focusing on the characters’ internal development and the quiet intimacy of their shared moments. Through their interactions, both Amane and Mahiru learn to confront their insecurities and embrace the comfort they find in each other’s company.
