Description
Raul Chaser, a young man who aspired to become a hero, fails to achieve his dream after the Demon Lord is unexpectedly defeated, rendering the Hero Certification Exam obsolete. Left without a purpose, Raul reluctantly takes a job at a magical electronics store, Leon Company, where he works as a sales clerk. His mundane life takes a turn when Fino Bloodstone, the daughter of the defeated Demon Lord, applies for a part-time job at the same store. Fino, raised in isolation and unfamiliar with human society, struggles to adapt to her new environment, often causing comedic misunderstandings and mishaps.

The narrative explores the dynamics between Raul and Fino as they navigate their contrasting backgrounds. Raul, despite his initial disappointment over his failed hero aspirations, gradually finds fulfillment in his job and develops a protective attitude toward Fino. Fino, on the other hand, is earnest but naive, often relying on Raul for guidance. Their interactions are marked by humor and occasional tension, as Fino’s demonic heritage and lack of social awareness lead to unpredictable situations.

Supporting characters include Raul’s coworkers, such as the strict yet caring store manager, Sephie Riche, and the quirky inventor, Novem Chlorophyll. These characters contribute to the comedic and lighthearted tone of the series, often becoming involved in Fino’s antics or Raul’s attempts to maintain order. The story occasionally delves into the broader implications of the Demon Lord’s defeat, touching on themes of societal change and the challenges faced by those whose lives were upended by the event.

The manga balances slice-of-life elements with fantasy undertones, blending workplace comedy with the remnants of a world once defined by the conflict between heroes and demons. Raul and Fino’s evolving relationship forms the core of the narrative, as they learn from each other and adapt to their new realities. The series maintains a light, comedic tone while subtly addressing themes of identity, purpose, and the complexities of coexistence between humans and demons.
