The story centers on Minato Asano, a shy and reserved high school student who plays the trombone but struggles with stage fright and self-doubt. Despite her talent, she avoids performing in public, preferring to stay in the background. Her life takes a turn when she encounters Hibiki Tasuku, the confident and outgoing president of the school’s wind ensemble club. Hibiki, a skilled euphonium player, recognizes Minato’s potential and persistently encourages her to join the club.

As Minato reluctantly becomes involved with the wind ensemble, her interactions with Hibiki and the other members gradually help her confront her fears and insecurities. Hibiki’s unwavering support and enthusiasm challenge Minato to step out of her comfort zone, while their shared passion for music fosters a deepening bond between them. The story delicately portrays their evolving relationship, blending moments of vulnerability with lighthearted camaraderie.

The supporting characters, including other members of the wind ensemble, add depth to the story, each contributing their own struggles and aspirations.
