Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian - Episode 2

In this episode, Masachika volunteers to help organize the student council camp alongside his childhood friend Yuki and the mysterious Alya. Alya uses Russian to catch Masachika's attention, believing he doesn't understand her. Later, the student council president invites the group to dinner, where Yuki praises Masachika, leading to an invitation to join the student council—which he declines.

It turns out that Yuki is actually Masachika's sister and has a lively otaku personality at home. The next day, Yuki and Masachika go shopping and notice Alya following them. They invite Alya to a restaurant that serves extremely spicy ramen, and despite Masachika's warnings, Alya's pride makes her accept the challenge.

After lunch, while Yuki goes shopping alone, Masachika buys ice cream for Alya, who is struggling with the spiciness. She expresses her desire to run for student council president and hints in Russian that she wants Masachika as her running mate. They go shopping, and Alya becomes addicted to Masachika's compliments about her outfits. An awkward moment occurs when Yuki returns. Later, Alya grows concerned when Masachika and Yuki get off at the same bus stop, but she doesn’t need to worry about Yuki being a romantic rival—only an election competitor.

Masachika's hesitation to rejoin the student council stems from an incident in middle school. Viewers are left wondering whether Alya's charm will convince him to support her campaign.
