The TV anime "Metallic Rouge" will premiere on January 10, 2024. Along with this announcement, a key visual, the main promotional video, and additional cast members were revealed.

The key visual features the two main characters, Rouge and Naomi, standing close together, with the design of Metallic Rouge visible in the background. Above them, the text reads, "For the world, for the future, we will do it." The main trailer showcases the battles of Rouge and Naomi, who fight as Metal Rouge for humans and Neans (human-like beings), highlighting the challenges they face as androids. The trailer also includes the opening theme "Rouge" by Yuko and the ending theme "Scarlet" by Dasbee.

Eight new voice actors were announced for the series:

1. Shunsuke Takeuchi as Gene, Rouge's brother, who orders the extermination of the Immortal Nine.

2. Yu Shimamura as Sara, a singer active in Mars' Canal City.

3. Hiroyuki Yoshino as Jalon, a member of the Immortal Nine.

4. Yui Ogura as Jill, a freelance journalist.

5. Kenjiro Tsuda as Afdal, a Nean-specialized doctor known as a Tuner.

6. Kazuyuki Okitsu as Eden, a young man researching war relics on Mars.

7. Atsushi Miyajima as Ash, a Nean-hating investigator from the Guardian Bureau.

8. Chiaki Kobayashi as Neid 262, Ash's partner and a Nean-hating investigator from the Guardian Bureau.

"Metallic Rouge" is an original anime developed to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Studio Bones. The series is supervised by Yutaka Izubuchi, who is collaborating with Bones for the first time in 19 years since "RahXephon." The story is set in a world where humans and androids coexist. It centers on the android girl Rouge and her partner Naomi, who are tasked with eliminating nine androids rebelling against the government on Mars.
