During the Aniplex Online Fest, a new promotional video for the upcoming anime adaptation of Dan Ichikawa's "My New Boss Is Goofy" (Atarashii Jōshi wa Do Tennen) was released. The anime is set to premiere on October 7 and promises a comedic take on workplace dynamics.



The anime will include a series of promotional videos, each focusing on a different main character, which are scheduled to be released weekly on the official website.

Musical support for the series comes from the band Fujifabric, who will perform the opening song "Planeteria," and Lenny code fiction, who are responsible for the ending theme "Hanataba" (Bouquet).

The series centers on the life of Kentarō Momose, a 26-year-old office worker who changes jobs due to harassment from his previous boss. Fearing similar treatment from his new superior, Momose is anxious but pleasantly surprised when he discovers that his new boss, Yūsei Shirosaki, is an unintentional goofball who eases his worries.
