In the third episode, Yukichi the cat ponders the seemingly chaotic life of his owner Saku. Saku's inability to complete basic tasks like sorting the trash leaves Yukichi bewildered and makes him wonder how she manages to keep her job. He even considers leaving her if she loses her job.

Throughout the day, Yukichi takes care of various household chores, such as washing and drying laundry. His diligent efforts are thwarted by rain, forcing him to repeat the tasks. While watching a TV show, he notices Saku thanking him for putting an umbrella in her bag. Touched by her public acknowledgment, Yukichi prepares a buffet to welcome her home.

During the meal, Saku shares the details of her day. However, the next morning, she wakes up with a fever. Despite her intention to go to work, Yukichi insists that she rests and takes on the role of the caretaker. Eventually, Saku gives in and takes half a day off.

As the day comes to an end, Saku wakes up and realizes she has actually taken the entire day off.
