In Episode 4, the day begins with Saku oversleeping and being woken up by her cat Yukichi. She is reminded of her plans to visit the aquarium with her boss and hurries to make preparations, only to encounter an obstacle when she realizes she only has office clothes. Yukichi comes to her rescue and skillfully alters an old dress for her.

Upon arriving at the aquarium, Saku finds her boss with his niece Yume. He explains that Yume is usually looked after by his mother, but since she is busy that day, he has taken responsibility. Yume spots Yukichi at the aquarium, but fortunately, Saku's boss is engaged in a conversation and doesn’t notice the cat. Although worried that Yukichi might draw attention, Saku manages to keep his presence a secret from her boss.

Later, at a concert, Saku spots Yukichi again but keeps him hidden from her boss. The day ends without the boss discovering Yukichi’s presence. When Saku returns home, she finds Yukichi asleep and initially worries about his health before realizing he’s just tired from the day’s events. Comfortingly, Saku lovingly strokes the sleeping Yukichi.

The next morning, Yukichi finds Saku asleep amid the chaos from the previous night. Later that day, Saku is amazed to discover that Yukichi has fashioned himself a pair of stylish mittens. This leads her to suggest that Yukichi open a clothing store for large cats like himself.

The episode introduces a new character, Yume, the boss’s niece, who is lively and curious. Yume develops an affection for Yukichi, adding to the gentle and warm tone of the episode.
