In this episode, the plot mainly revolves around Saku's day out with her colleagues and Yukichi's day at home with a playful kitten. The episode begins with Saku going on an outing with her colleagues. She informs Yukichi about her plans by calling him. During the outing, Saku impresses her colleagues by keeping her composure even after consuming several drinks.

When Saku finally returns home, she is visibly tired and on the verge of passing out. Yukichi supports her under her arms and encourages her to change into more comfortable clothes. He also helps her with her skincare routine and offers her special drinks to alleviate her hangover. To end the evening, Yukichi gives Saku a soothing massage, which lulls her into a restful slumber.

The next morning, Saku goes to work rejuvenated and blames Yukichi for her newfound energy. At her workplace, she is admired by her colleagues for being able to work efficiently despite her hangover. As the workday draws to a close, a few of her colleagues recall Saku's past helpfulness when she saved another colleague from a shady man on public transportation.

The narrative then shifts its focus to Yukichi. He meets up with his neighbor, who is temporarily taking care of the kitten introduced in the previous episode. The little kitten seems very happy to see Yukichi and snuggles up to him affectionately. The neighbor asks Yukichi if he can look after the kitten while she runs some errands, to which he agrees.

Yukichi then dedicates his entire day to caring for the lively kitten until both eventually fall asleep. His neighbor finds this sight heartwarming when she returns. Later, when Saku comes home from work, Yukichi mentally compares her to the kitten. This prompts him to lovingly pet Saku, which makes her happy and rounds out the events of the episode.
