Jujutsu Kaisen Anime: New information revealed about the second season

Season 2 of the anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" has garnered attention following a recent MAPPA Stage 2023 event. A promotional video featuring a preview of the opening theme song was unveiled, which is set to heighten expectations for the upcoming season.



The promotional video offered a glimpse into the atmosphere of the new season, while the character visuals highlighted the aesthetic direction of the upcoming installment. "Ao no Sumika" (Blue House) by Tatsuya Kitani, the opening theme for the new season, was also introduced, providing a musical preview of what's to come.

In the season premiering on July 6, Shōta Goshozono takes on the role of director, and we will be introduced to new characters: Anna Nagase plays Riko Amanai, and Takehito Koyasu voices Toji Fushiguro.

Another highlight is the opening theme "Akari" (Lantern), performed by Soushi Sakiyama, which further amplifies the anticipation for the series. The second season is set to run for two cours, adapting both the "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu" arc and the "Shibuya Incident" arc from Gege Akutami's original manga.
