Meanwhile, Nanami and a drunk sorcerer named Naobito Zen'in face off against the cursed spirit Dagon. Dagon's domain is a vast underwater world where he can summon endless shikigami. Nanami and Naobito struggle to fend off the swarm of shikigami but manage to hold their ground. Naobito uses his "Projection Sorcery," which allows him to divide one second into 24 frames and predict movements, making him one of the fastest sorcerers alongside Satoru Gojo.

Megumi Fushiguro also infiltrates Dagon's domain and begins utilizing his own domain, resulting in a tug-of-war between the two domains. Megumi's goal is to create a small opening in Dagon's domain so everyone can escape. Nanami and Naobito agree to the plan and prepare to jump through the opening as soon as it appears.

In a conversation between Mei Mei and Ui Ui, the topic of sibling relationships is briefly touched upon, adding a lighthearted moment to the intense atmosphere.
