The official sources of the anime series "Jujutsu Kaisen" recently presented a promotional video along with accompanying visuals, offering a glimpse into the next phase of the series: the "Shibuya Incident" arc. This upcoming segment will consist of 18 episodes and is set to begin on August 31. A key highlight is the opening song titled "SPECIALZ," performed by the music group King Gnu.

The plot of this season revolves around two main storylines from Gege Akutami's manga: "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" and the "Shibuya Incident."

The narrative is a retrospective journey back to the spring of 2006, tracing the past of two central characters—Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru. Both are entrusted with a dual mission by Tengen, a revered immortal within the Jujutsu Brotherhood, and are regarded as unparalleled Jujutsu sorcerers. Their primary objective is to protect and subsequently eliminate the "Star Plasma Vessel," identified as Amanai Riko. During this mission, their path is obstructed by an assassin named Fushiguro, whose sole aim is to destroy the Star Plasma Vessel.
