The episode begins with Mechamaru, a puppet controlled by the deceased Kokichi Muta of Kyoto School, contacting Yuji Itadori. Mechamaru informs him that Satoru Gojo has been sealed and provides strategic advice. He reveals that he created the puppets as a form of "advanced insurance," which only activates if Gojo is sealed.

At Meiji Shrine Station, Mei Mei and her team, including her brother Ui Ui and Itadori, are confronted by two curse users. Mechamaru advises Mei Mei to allow Itadori to escape and inform the other sorcerers about Gojo's situation. Mei Mei agrees, and they prepare for battle.

The episode also explains the technique of the veils erected over Shibuya. There are four types: one that traps ordinary people, another that traps Gojo, a third that prevents sorcerers from entering, and a fourth similar to the first. Mechamaru advises the team to adapt and respond to the enemy's movements, emphasizing the urgency of the situation.

Meanwhile, the cursed spirits Jogo, Mahito, and Choso discuss their next steps. They debate whether to kill Itadori or use him to revive Sukuna. They decide to make a game out of it: whoever finds Itadori first gets to decide his fate.

Back at Meiji Shrine, the team is ready for battle. Mei Mei takes command, and they attack the curse users.
