The episode begins with a confrontation between Roy, the puppeteer, and the group consisting of Rouge, Jill (Silvia), and others. Roy admits that he is a Nean, a race created to imitate humans. This leads to a discussion about identity and the nature of Neans. He reveals that he did not die by Jaron's hand, but rather it was a clone he created that was killed. This clone had replicated Roy's personality and memories—a strategy Roy had developed before his apparent death.

With the help of a puppet show, Roy recounts his plan to create a clone in order to achieve immortality. He introduces the Immortal Neans: puppets over which he claims to have full control. He explains their role in a war to protect humanity and their eventual disappointment in humans. He asserts his influence over them to test their humanity.

Silvia's attempts to attack Roy are thwarted when he immobilizes her and Aes, claiming that he was the one who instilled in Silvia the goal of liberating the Neans. Roy also speaks about the relationship between Eva and Eden, hinting that he manipulated their feelings for his own amusement.

As the story progresses, a clash occurs between Silvia and Roy, resulting in Silvia fatally wounding Roy. However, Cyan, who has transformed, takes revenge on Silvia, leading to her death. Through Cyan, Roy implies that he possesses multiple bodies and plans to claim Rouge's ID next. A battle ensues between Rouge and Roy (Cyan)! Roy expresses his desire for the Neans under his control to evolve beyond humans.

Naomi supports Rouge in the fight, leading to Roy's defeat. With Naomi's help, Rouge attains a new form and defeats Roy. After the battle, Roy accepts his loss but claims a connection to Jean, suggesting a shared fate. Cyan and Rouge revert to their human forms, but Cyan dies shortly afterward.

The season concludes with the activation of the Code Eve device. This exposes Opera as a trap meant to turn the Neans against humanity! Despite the threat, an antivirus developed by Jean averts the catastrophe! The episode ends with Rouge preparing to fight against Opera and her forces, signaling the ongoing conflict between Neans, humans, and Junaoids!
