As some fans have known for a while, Hollywood is currently working on a live-action adaptation of the internationally highly successful cult anime series Dragonball.

In the latest issue of the Japanese magazine Shounen Jump, there was an exclusive first look at the main actor Justin Chatwin as Son Goku.



Here’s a list of some of the actors confirmed for the film so far.

Son Goku - Justin Chatwin (Robbie in War of the Worlds)

Bulma - Emily Rossum (Christine in The Phantom of the Opera)

Piccolo - James Marsters (Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

Muten Roshi - Chow Yun Fat (Li Mu Bai in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon)

The film is set to have its world premiere in March 2009 in Japan, with its U.S. release following a few weeks later on April 3. In Germany, the film will open on August 4, 2009.
