Season 2 of “Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu” premieres in January 2024

The second season of the TV anime "Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu," titled "Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu: Second Act," will air on January 8, 2024. Along with this announcement, a second promotional video and new cast information have been released.

The new video showcases the challenges faced by the protagonist Makoto, who temporarily works as a lecturer at Rotsgard Central Academy due to unforeseen problems. It also features scenes of him screaming bizarrely and fighting against assassins. The PV further highlights the battles between two other heroes, Hibiki and Tomoki, their parties, and demons. The first opening theme of the new season is "Utopia" by Keina Suda, which can be heard in the PV, while the ending theme is "My Factor" by Kento Ito, who voices Ilmugand=Hopelace. Ito describes the song as charming because it is not pretentious.

New cast members include Yukiyo Fujii as Lona, one of the demon generals skilled in ice magic. Fujii comments on her character, describing Lona as pure and dedicated to her goals. Daisuke Kusunoki voices Io, a four-armed, muscular demon known for being the strongest demon in battle. Kusunoki emphasizes Io's warlike nature but also his care for subordinates and respect for worthy opponents.

"Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu" is a fantasy series about high school student Makoto, who is summoned to another world as a hero but is rejected by the goddess due to his appearance and banished to a remote wilderness. The second season focuses on the conflict between humans and demons.
