The upcoming TV anime adaptation of Hitsuji Yamada's heartwarming manga "The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today" (Dekiru Neko wa Kyō mo Yūutsu) is making good progress. The anime's official website has released the second promotional video, aiming to captivate fans with a fresh glimpse into the series' unique world.



The newly released promotional video marks a significant milestone in the anime's development, as it gives viewers the chance to experience the charm and atmosphere of the series ahead of its official premiere.

In addition to the video, it was announced that the music group Somei will perform the opening theme for the series, a track titled "Ureu Kado niwa Fuku Kitaru" (Fortune Comes to a Worried House).

The story revolves around Saku, who adopts a stray black cat named Yukichi. However, Yukichi is no ordinary feline—he takes on the role of a diligent housemaster. The dynamic between Saku and Yukichi will be a central theme of the series, likely delivering an uplifting mix of comedy, drama, and life lessons.

The anime is directed by Susumu Kudo and Katsumasa Yokomine, with the series scripts penned by Tamazo Yanagi. GoHands, the studio behind the anime's production, has also handled the character design, led by Takayuki Uchida.
