The event celebrating the 30th anniversary of Dengeki Bunko revealed some details about the anime adaptation of Kо̄ Nogatsu and Sabamizore's light novel series Seiyū Radio no Ura Omote (The Two Sides of Voice Actor Radio).

Hideki Tachibana will direct the series, while Shoko Takimoto designs the characters and serves as chief animation director. The series' scripts will be overseen by Keiichirō Ōchi.

Seiyū Radio no Ura Omote revolves around two high school voice actresses, Yūhi and Yasumi, who co-host a radio show together. Off the air, their lives couldn't be more different, as Yasumi transforms into Yumiko, a gyaru, and Yūhi into Chika, a reserved girl. This contrast in their personalities often leads to conflicts when they're not performing on the radio.

The voice cast for the anime was also announced: Miku Itō will voice Yasumi Utatane/Yumiko Satō, and Moe Toyota will lend her voice to Yūhi Yūgure/Chika Watanabe. These casting decisions follow a promotional video for the light novel series in 2020, where both actresses portrayed the same characters.

Since its initial release in February 2020, the novel series has grown to eight volumes, with the latest released on January 7. A manga adaptation by Umemi Makimoto was serialized in Kadokawa's Dengeki Maoh magazine, running from March 2020 to July 2021 and concluding in three compiled volumes.
